The Easy Chia Seed Pudding will last up to 5 days in the refrigerator.

So, you could have your work week’s worth of breakfast, snacks or desserts. This pudding is great at any time.

I have made it with unsweetened almond milk, but you could make it with coconut milk, any plant based milk, juice, coconut water or even water.  Remember to keep the ratio 3 Tablespoons of chia seeds to 1 cup of liquid.

People have asked me if chia seeds will help them lose weight. Well, I can’t say positively, but I can tell you they are packed with fiber. Two tablespoons of chia seeds have almost 10 grams! So, they might help prevent overeating and studies show diets high in fiber have been linked to weight loss.

  1. Oh this is an excellent snack that will be a healthy choice comparing to some different, sweet products! My hubby made one for us just few days ago and I loved it. We had chia with coconut milk and mandarines. Awesome. I would like to try your version yet I have to skip on almond milk since I am almond-intolerant.

I was so glad to see this post! Chia pudding is my every other day breakfast! And I love it so much! Because my mornings are super stressful, I don’t have breakfast at home – I usually prepare something to eat while I’m on my train trip to work or school and what I do is either overnight oats or chia pudding! I do it just like you except I skip the maple syrup 🙂

  13. I absolutely love chia seeds. I want to like yogurt but the texture is so off for me. hopefully using chia seeds will fix that!

  14. I need to know, do the chia seeds actually taste good?! I had a roommate in college that ate them frequently but she was a vegan so I don’t know if she was just eating them for the heath part of it or if they actually taste good or if they only taste good if you add something to the top, like something sweet.
