Ingredients

  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, over medium heat, combine all of the ingredients and whisk together. 
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then quickly lower the heat to a simmer over medium-low. Simmer for 5 minutes or until the syrup thickens. The syrup will thicken as it cools. 
  •  Allow it to cool, then store in an airtight container and keep refrigerated.
