  • 1 watermelon

Instructions

  • Pick: Get the perfect watermelon, here's 7 things to look for.
  • Prep: Wash the outside of the watermelon in order to stop the transfer of dirt and bacteria.
  • Cut: First remove both ends. Stand it upright on one of the cut sides.

  • Slice Down the Middle: Begin cutting, just as you would start slicing a pie. Stop before you cut all the way through. Leave about 1" at the bottom.
  • Continue Slicing: Make another slice perpendicular to the first slice. If you watermelon is larger, slice those sections in half again. *NOTE 1
  • Separate: If necessary, separate the triangle slices. Once you reach the bottom cut it into triangles.
  • Remove rind or add popsicle sticks if desired. Serve chilled or room temperature and enjoy!
