Mexican Fruit Seasoning Recipe (Copycat Tajin)

This Mexican fruit seasoning recipe is a copycat Tajin seasoning substitute, a popular Mexican spice blend. It's the perfect mix of sea salt, chili powder, and dehydrated lime and is a great way to bring out the sweetness of the fruit. Give this homemade version a try!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp dried lime peel
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Optional

  • 1 tsp cayenne

Instructions

  • In a spice grinder, grind dried lime peel.
  • In a small bowl, mix all spices together.
  • Place a funnel in a spice bottle and pour the homemade Mexican fruit seasoning into the spice shaker.
