Ingredients

  • 1 avocado, ripe
  • 3/4 cup dark vegan chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  • Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or the microwave in a microwave-safe bowl in 30 second increments. 
  • In a food processor or high-speed blender, process the avocado until smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate into mashed avocado and pulse together. 
  • Add vanilla and salt. Pulse until well combined.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Scoop chilled and hardened truffle mixture with a melon baller, small cookie scoop, or spoon. Roll into balls between your hands until smooth.
  • Roll the chocolate balls in cocoa powder and serve
