Why Air Frying Is the Easy Way to Enjoy Artichokes
Cooking artichokes can be a little intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. The air fryer is an easy way to cut down on cooking time while enhancing the natural flavors of the artichokes. Unlike boiling or steaming, air frying brings out a crispy, rich flavor that’s sure to impress.
Tips for Perfect Air-Fried Artichokes
- Avoid Overcrowding: Cook in batches if necessary, depending on the size of your artichokes, to allow each piece to crisp evenly.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer for 3 minutes for an even crispier artichoke.
- Experiment with Sauces: This is my favorite sauce to bring out the flavor of artichokes, but you could serve them with a lemon wedge, vegan garlic aioli, dairy-free Greek yogurt with lemon juice, or even sriracha for a flavorful twist.
Storage and Reheating
This is the perfect appetizer because you can make it ahead of time! It stores and reheats beautifully. Store it in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-5 days. Reheat it in the air fryer for 3-5 minutes to bring back the crispiness.
