Tips for your Skinny Peppermint Vanilla Protein Shake

I prefer using frozen bananas and skipping the ice for an even creamier shake. I always keep peeled, sliced bananas in my freezer for a quick add-in to my shakes. They give you a great potassium boost and add natural sugars.

Remember to only use THERAPEUTIC grade peppermint oil. Not all oils are created equal and not all oils are meant to be ingested. If you are in doubt stick with peppermint extract.

In regards to protein powders, I prefer plant-based ones because they are easier to digest and in my opinion better for you (and animals). Over the past few years, I have tried many brands and they have all been fine. I can’t say one was horrible and don’t ever drink it or that one was so exceptionally better than another. I will say that I am currently using Orgain brand and it’s delicious and blends well.
