If the term “wellness retreat” conjures images of sparse accommodations and meals of plain steamed vegetables, you probably need to travel with a host that knows how to make a wellness retreat top notch. Intentionally Eat retreats take a more adventurous approach to wellness, from exciting excursions to yoga and zumba classes, everything you need to reset.

If love to travel; discover new things, eat different foods, and see how other human beings live in this world, then an Intentionally Eat retreat is for you. Sometimes, when we travel we get ourselves into crazy situations like cave spelunking in Belize! If that isn’t your thing, you can practice yoga, get quiet and renew, enjoy this breathtaking world, and buy a few souvenirs.
Intentionally Eat retreats have led us to Spain. We toured the beautiful cities, ran a 5k, climbed the hills of the small villages and met the locals, ate freshly baked bread and drank red wine outside a stone castle. We practiced yoga in a 1,000 year old building with the sunlight streaming through the stones, it was an amazing and surreal class.
Recently we hiked an active volcano in Hawaii. If you reached your hand and put it down close to a crevice you could feel the intense heat.
Some of our retreatents swam with wild dolphins off the coast of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Travelers tip: make sure to avoid the tourist traps that are holding dolphins captive. Wild ones don’t want to hug and have a selfie taken with you!
A few of us sweated toxins out in a temazcal, a type of sweat lodge. It was so hot, but taking a dip in the ocean afterwards felt amazing!
